Delivered infrastructure for large scale enterprise replacement during a 3 year period covering over 40 countries. Complex migrations. System uptime and stability crucial.
Instrumental on 4 separate due diligences for merger and acquisition opportunities.
Delivered 4 Divestitures - technology separations following sale of parts of the Bank.
Migration applications in Data Centre from Mumbai to London. Staff in Warsaw, London & India.
Several 1000 server upgrades to Solaris-8 and Windows-2000 plus some Oracle-9.
Multiple other smaller projects delivering Servers, Web, Databases, Middleware, Resilient frames, EMC Storage, Legato Backups.
Delivered 1000’s of system migrations from 4 legacy Data Centres and technology rooms spread over 13 sites, to 2 new Data Centres.
2500 servers running Solaris, NT, Win-2000, Netware, Sybase and Oracle and SQL.
Project Budget of $ 9 million. Project duration 22 months.
Provided all the hardware, system administration, project management and coordination for the Infrastructure Technology group. Kept strong liaison and partnership with the application support.
Feasibility studies of new technologies for workflow products (IBM MQ), monitoring, and growth.
Where projects were taken forward, implemented and hand over to production staff.
Delivered Lotus Notes email conversion across 2200 Desktops.
Improved automation and Business Resilience through implementation of Legato Enterprise across Data Centres with intra site contingency backups.
